Recent Facility Initiatives
1992: New building committee established
- Intent was to develop plan for multi-purpose wing
- Main incentive was to due to possible availability of large sum of funds
- Committee established and formed:
- A building fund
- A mission statement
- A functional requirements list for the new building
- A conceptual drawing for talking purposes
- The building committee was disbanded in 1995
- due to lack of interest and
- available funding.
2001: Motion approved to form committee to evaluate child care center
2003: Engineering site feasibility study was done to due concerns with land use
2004: Decision to install playground & parking
2005: Child care search disbanded due to lack of interest from an operator
2006: Stain glass windows planned for installation.
